I chose to shoot this clip of filming because it is a good establishing shot which includes all technologies used to make my chosen genre of music, which is House music. This also sticks with the conventions of house music videos as many include a large amount of technology used to make the music, which also takes place in the studio. The studio is a common location seen in many House music videos, I also believe the bright lights would look very good with the song which is fast and exciting.
I chose to shoot this piece of filming because it is a good close up of how the beat used in the song is played. A similar piece of footage is also used in the original One (Your Name) music video. This proves it fits in well with the conventions of a house music video which I found in my research. |
I chose to shoot this piece of footage again because it shows how the song is played but at another shot and angle, allowing for other technologies to feature in this shot. |
I chose to shoot this clip of footage because I think the bright lights which match the beat of the song would look very good either fading into other shots or on the drop of a beat. The bright lights also stick to conventions of a typical house music video.
I chose to shoot this clip of filming because it once again shows how house music is made which relates to my song. I chose this camera shot because it is eye level with his hands and the technology being used.
I chose this shot to allow viewers to see how complex the technology is used to make music and particularily house music. It is also showing the same as the previous piece of footage but as if its third person and you see what the actor is seeing. This allows the viewers to feel as though they are in the video.
I specifically chose to shoot this piece of footage to play over the beginning of the song when it is necessary. It is a good close showing how that part of the song is made.
I chose this to shoot this piece of footage because it once again shows how the song is made but with another piece of technology and at a different camera shot and angle, (over the shoulder). This shot allows viewers to feel as though they are there watching the actor perform, for example as though they are looking over their shoulder. The lights are also once again involved sticking to house music video conventions.
I chose to shoot this piece of footage because I wanted the lights to drop in sync with the song and I thought this particular static shot was at a good angle.
