Dj's A2 Media

I aim to use the first person camera shot for some of my music video, particularly the opening and ending sequence. As you can see this works very well in dance music videos. These shots through out this video create an illusion that you are with the two DJ's and go everywhere with them e,g, in the limo and at the gig, so the viewer gets into the video a lot quicker due to the viewer feeling apart of the video. This is what i would like to use so that it captures the viewer quickly and makes them feel apart of the video in a way.

I also aim to have this type of shot in my music video, it will be quite a big part of the music video, however not only at the front of the car but footage from the back seat giving another view. I aim to use this because when the filming is in a faster motion, it seems fun and interesting, keeping with the face paced music. This will also make the viewer want too watch for longer to see where the video will end so this will mean that the viewer will watch the full video and possibly  feel nvolved with the video. As if they were in the car and wanted too see where they end.

When researching various music videos of my chosen genre I came across Chris Brown's and Benny Benassi's, Beautiful People. After seeing this I thought the studio shots go very well with the genre of music. Therefore I aim to include various studio shots as they also stick with conventions and are very interesting to watch.

I also came across this music video when researching my genre. Erick Morillo's, Live Your Life is a good performance music video. It also includes many of my ideas, including the studio shots and another I plan to include is the live performance, at either a club or festival, if possible both. This is once again sticking to conventions of house music.
